Make-A-Wish is a global organisation that grants life-changing wishes to children aged 3 to 17 living with critical illnesses.The organisation's mission is rooted in the belief that a wish can have a powerful impact on a child’s physical and emotional well-being.

To make these wishes possible, Make-A-Wish relies on a combination of public donations, corporate sponsorships, in-kind contributions and the generosity of individual supporters and volunteers. Since its founding, the charity has granted hundreds of thousands of wishes globally, creating lasting memories during some of their most challenging times.

Creative events that spark joy and fund wishes

We have partnered with Make-A-Wish UK many times over the years, bringing our fundraising technology and event expertise to a variety of unique and high-impact events. One of our most notable events is the Art of Wishes event, which we have proudly supported for the last 4 years. In 2024, this included the Art of Wishes Lunch – Women in the Arts, a standout event celebrating female creativity while raising vital funds. The exclusive gathering welcomed over 200 influential women from the art world, featuring curated speakers, fine dining and a powerful fundraising platform.

In addition to this, we have supported Make-A-Wish UK’s recent flagship events, including ‘Night of Wishes’ in May 2025 at the Savoy Hotel and Make-A-Wish Christmas Raffle, which engaged thousands of supporters with festive prizes. Each event was uniquely tailored, from art-themed lunches to glamorous charity balls and wide-reaching raffles, demonstrating Make-A-Wish’s creative, experience-driven approach to fundraising.

The platform that powers giving

At the Art of Wishes event, we provided the fundraising technology platform that powered the event’s silent auction, Buy Now items,pledging and real-time leaderboard. With a mobile-responsive design, guests could browse and bid on luxury auction items from their seats in a beautiful environment. Through partnering with us, they were able to keep their guests engaged with live bidding notifications, a dynamic leaderboard and easy-to-use pledge options, keeping energy and engagement high throughout the event.

We helped Make-A-Wish streamline every element of the event, from guest registration and auctions to fast, secure payments, eliminating the need for multiple systems and potential errors. Rich item descriptions and intuitive navigation helped to deliver a seamless experience for both the guests and organisers.

Fundraising that delivers

The Art of Wishes event raised over £160,000 just on the silent auction and pledge moment alone. The silent auction received over 300 bids, and they raised £60,000 in just 15 minutes during the pledge moment. The elegant and intuitive platform enhanced both the efficiency and atmosphere of the event with Make-A-Wish remarking: “Emma has allowed us to increase our event fundraising, whilst making our guest experience smooth and easy”. Beyond this event, Emma has supported the Art of wishes initiative for multiple years, contributing to its impressive £12 million raised to date. The combination of contemporary art, philanthropy and a high-touch guest experiences has made Art of Wishes one of the Make-A-Wish’s most celebrated and successful fundraising events.

We also supported ‘A Night of Wishes’ in which we provided a comprehensive fundraising solution, which included the silent auction and the live auction, Buy Now items, pledges, donations and guest ticketing and registration. With our user-friendly interface, dynamic leaderboard and real-time bidding updates, guests remained actively engaged throughout the evening. This event raised over £1,000,000 in total for Make-A-Wish, with over 500 bids placed in the silent auction, a testament to the power of technology in delivering smooth, impactful fundraising experiences.
