The British Asian Trust, founded by King Charles III, is a UK-based charity dedicated to tackling poverty and driving sustainable development across South Asia. Operating in countries like India, Pakistan, and Nepal, the Trust focuses on vital issues such as education, mental health,anti-trafficking, and improving livelihoods. By working closely with local partners, they design and deliver innovative, community-led programs that empower people to transform their own lives and futures.

Turning London into an art playground: The Big Egg Hunt

We were thrilled to partner with the British Asian Trust on The Big Egg Hunt, a one-of-a-kind public art experience that took London bystorm in Spring 2025.

This large-scale charity event featured over 100 uniquely designed, metre-high egg sculptures, created by some of the UK's most celebrated artists, designers, and celebrities. Hidden across central London,the eggs turned the city into a giant interactive art gallery, sparking curiosity, creativity, and community spirit. Thousands took part, setting a new Guinness World Record for the most participants in an egg hunt competition.

The event wasn’t just fun, it had a purpose. Blending culture, charity, and creativity, the hunt brought people together in a joyful and meaningful way, making it a standout moment on London’s cultural calendar.

A royal celebration at Kew Gardens

To end the event, the British Asian Trust hosted an unforgettable gala dinner at the iconic Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This exclusive evening brought together artists, philanthropists, and supporters ina setting that beautifully mirrored the Trust’s commitment to sustainability and long-term impact.

One of the highlights from the event was a walk through the gardens by King Charles and Queen Camilla, who viewed the stunning egg creations and met with supporters. The event celebrated not just artistic achievement, but the shared vision and impact of everyone involved.

Next-level fundraising with a seamless auction experience

Following the trail, each egg sculpture was put up for sale through our custom-built silent auction platform. Guests could easily browse,bid, and track their favourites from any device, making the experience both fun and intuitive. With the help of our enhanced auction technology, we were able to keep participants engaged and elevate the fundraising potential of the event.

Record-breaking result

The Big Egg Hunt turned out to be the British Asian Trust’s most successful fundraiser ever, raising over £150,000 just from the silent auction, with it receiving more than 800 bids. The popularity and ease of the auction played a key role in the success of this event, driving unprecedented engagement from attendees, resulting in them being able to raise a record-breaking amount of funds.

An award-winning impact and event

In recognition of its creativity and success, the event was honoured with the ‘Out of the Box Event of the Future’ award at The Emma’s 2025,celebrating its innovative approach and lasting impact on the future of fundraising.
